Where does the cannabis that ends up in the CannaZen shop come from? In this documentary, we take you to the plantation – to where it all begins. From cultivation to care to harvest: this is the journey of your flower.
The Plantation
Professional cultivation has nothing to do with the image most people have in mind. Agricultural scientists and horticulturists work hand in hand here. Every plant is monitored, every room is climate-controlled, every drop of water is precisely dosed.
Quality Starts with Genetics
The mother plants are the heart of the operation. Cuttings are taken from them that are genetically identical. This ensures that every batch has the same quality, the same terpene profile, and the same potency.
From Cutting to Flower
Depending on the strain, a plant’s journey takes 8–12 weeks in flower. Before that, it goes through a vegetative phase where it builds structure and mass. Switching to the 12/12 light cycle triggers flowering.
Harvest and Quality Control
Every harvest is lab-tested: THC, CBD, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals, microbiological contamination. Only when all values pass is the batch released. What doesn’t pass is destroyed – there are no compromises.
The Standard Behind Zen
CannaZen stands for transparency. Patients should know where their medicine comes from, how it was grown, and what’s in it. This documentary is part of that – a look behind the curtain.
